03:Accidental Video:Calen Shielder: "A shattered mind breeds an animal"

*What appears on the screen looks like the recent new comer Calen. At least it kind of does. His mouth is bloodied, it seems he'd begun to feed off the dead zombies. There is nothing more than a low growl coming from his throat, blood dripping down his the sides of his mouth to his chin

[Have a very surprised Zack just staring at the video screen for a second, before he shakes it off and starts off to try and find Calen. How hard could it be, right? A guy with some half-eaten zombie..thing. Should stick out like a sore thumb.]

*The feed blurs as Calen does his best to rise, hand hitting it the claws have just then retracted back into his fingers. There's a low mewl as the world spins and he barely makes it even an inch away from the NOC. He's at the very edge of town on the east, right at the gate. If he'd been brave enough before the snap he'd have most likely tried leaving entirely, despite the dangers*

[Gate, then. Zack would check each of them, and what luck. He was closest to the East gate. It takes him around 10 minutes, but Zack eventually comes into visual range, hand on the hilt of his Buster Sword as he looks for Calen.]

*He could hear someone coming, but his vision was already beginning to fade. His chest rose and fell rapidly and his tongue nearly came out of his mouth like a thirsty cat's might. He pulled it back in immediately when he could tell Zack was getting close, it was almost desperate the way he scratched at the ground and tried to pull himself away. The defensive growl is low and can hardly hold any substance. Two, three more minutes of this futile escape effort and he'll be unconscious.*

[Zack's SOLDIER hearing lets him hear Calen's growl, and he turns to see the other man on the ground. His face falls into a sympathetic frown as he walks closer, hand still on the hilt of his sword. Poor guy had to be in a lot of pain like that.] Hey. I'm not gonna hurt you.

*By the time Zack is close enough for Calen's to hear him beyond the rush of pounding blood in his ears. He's fallen into a complete state of immobility. A final attempt at a warning growl as his eyes which seemed to be covered over by a film fall shut. His breathing hits a shallow point and any attempt at protecting himself from what he saw as a threat end up falling away into a blood colored haze of oblivion*

[Zack leans down, picking up Calen and swinging him over his shoulder along with pocketing his NOC. The building he'd come out of had been some kind of clinic; if he took the poor guy back there, would they be able to help him? Zack sure hoped so. No one deserved to suffer like this, Zack thought to himself as he headed off back towards the clinic]

*Even in his unconscious state when he's hefted there is a minor struggle. Considering his size that of your average seventeen year old male it was not something that would affect Zack's ability to retain a good hold. Except maybe the unintentional release of claws that lasts only a mere two seconds before retracting a pained mewling like sound passes out of Calen's mouth as he falls limp once more. He has no idea he's being taken somewhere for help. If he was lucid he very well may beg to be left there to die. One could only hope somehow his mind returned along with his health, if the clinic could help.*

[It was no struggle for Zack to keep a firm hold on Calen, even with those claws. The pained sound made Zack flinch, though. It reminded him of Cloud, back home and watching his mother die in his arms. Still, Zack didn't let that stop him from taking this guy to the clinic. They'd be better at helping him then Zack with only his unmastered Cure.]

*He remains limp and unconscious only the mewling sounds and whimpers were heard. Not even the fresher air of the clinic seems to do anything to rouse him. It looks as if everything would be up the nurses now. It was a good thing Zack had come, for better or worse at least Calen would have a chance of survival*

[Zack watches for a moment before he leaves the clinic. Standing and staring wouldn't help the nurses, the guy he just brought in, or anyone else still out on the streets. Get your ass in gearr, Fair, and move on.]
