[throat clearing]Now, ah...this might turn out to be difficult, but in an attempt to bring some kind of formality to this, this, this organisation of sorts, I have set out to keep a record, like a census, if you will, on the people and the places with which they are from. As such, rather evidently, I do require to ask people if they are willing to ( Read more... )

Oh, pardon my manners. I am Rupert Giles, just Giles is fine. I am currently holding the Administrator position at the City Hall.

Not at current, no. Unless you have a theory on just why so many from this 'Gaia' seem to be residents here in 'Paradise'?

A place called Sunnydale, in California, on Earth.

There seems, so far, to only be two others that mention places from Earth.

Perhaps, although the exploration for more life has yet been inconclusive, there are numerous races and species of demon which inhabit our planet. And that isn't even starting on the dimensions and realms which linger around the world.

Yes, while there are no 'alien' lifeforms to speak of, Humans are not the only species inhabiting Earth. Rather there are numerous demons; beings that are more of a Hellish turn. Some are rather harmless, others seek to destroy the world as we know it.

There have been hundreds of thousands of books and documents written about such things, and although I highly doubt I will be able to replicate the same quantity of information as those from my own home, there is a chance that we will be able to stand a fighting chance here if the proper information is gathered.

[Just as well, maybe.]
