[She's been looking at the invitation she received thoughtfully, then Anis glances at the screen and offers a hesitant smile.]

[Kairi is considering going - but seeing that there may be no one agreeable with whom she could go - as a sort of claimed company, that is - well - oh, bugger. The fact is, she would rather not think of herself as attending alone. For once, therefore, she has voiced a typically youthful inquiry, in basic and reiterated essence: "Are you going?"]

If you're going, I can go with you. So, yes, I'll be there! [A moment, and then,] I really didn't want to go by myself, either. [And then a trademark Kairi giggle.]
This... it could be fun, right?

And if there's good food, that should really make it worth everything. Oh, but we need a dress, right..?

There's going to be good food? [Hey, that would be way, way better than shriveled (and frozen) squash!]
A dress, right... I think Mercy might be able to sew us a dress, if we can find her the materials! Do you know who Mercy is?

Hm, a little... I hear the name every once in a while, at least. [She sighs.] But I don't know how comfortable it'll be if anything happens.

Since the shift in Paradise's layout in the relative recent past, it would require heavy dependence on the NOC maps to find Mercy's store, since she was mostly unfamiliar with some of the newer additions and changes - and if Mercy still was in possession of the store. Acquiring materials for not only one dress, but two, was another matter entirely; fortunately, they were provided for the occasion, but it still made Kairi wonder just what else and how much of what else they were holding out on the people here...

Would you like to meet somewhere and try to get to Mercy's so we can get our dresses picked up? Or made, whichever she has to do. [As an afterthought, she added in response to Anis' last comment,] It's not like anything worse is going to happen than what we've already had to deal with so far, right? At least we get to go do something sort-of exciting!
