[Somehow, there is not much of an element of surprise to this. The repulsion on her face, however vague, is noticeable still.]

What - how is that supposed to be... [She has to suck in a breath for oxygen, and manages not to make so much of a face. They are just bugs and she has seen plenty of those back on Destiny Islands - just not so... big.]

[Kairi has this inclination to imagine all these insects having an intense urge to relocate to somewhere else. Surely they have no intention of staying forever - that would just be inconvenient at best (and gross.)

But there is a moment before Kairi says anything, mostly because she has to seriously consider the repeated question. So far, life had given her no other option, and she was not about to drop hope just yet... so,]

She would have to be strong for Sora and Riku, and even Axel, and all her other friends whether they were on the islands or not. They all could be reunited anytime, and it simply would not do if she was not ready for it; just because she was somewhere else did not mean it was time to become lax as a "princess" of hope and light.

Kairi is too determined to give up yet, no matter how lonely it becomes. It is tough, but she can endure one more day, one day at a time and one smile at a time.]
