I always thought Paradise would be sunny, with beaches and palm trees and a cute little cabana on the shore, drinks out of coconuts and mangos and this yummy little blond thing dancing in a grass skirt and not much else.

The vernacular was usually used to signify a ruler not yet of age, or a caretaker of a throne or other head of state.
