I'm redundant, and I also repeat myself. *grins* If you had told me three years ago that I would've felt this way about SV's version of Lois and Clark, I would've never believed you. They were on fire back then. But the new writing/directing/producing team has ripped the power right out of these two poor actors and it's not just the way I believe them to be. So...I find them a second class pairing now. I go back and I'm like, omg, yeah, that's it, that's how they were supposed to be. Why would you write them like this? It's not canon to have Tom and Erica's Clois are!!! Anyway...
It doesn't get any more iconic or canon than Luke and Laura. HOW can you screw them up? Anyone who's watching General Hospital now would know that Luke is married to Tracy Quartermaine and Laura is off in Paris. WTF??? Why, I don't really know, and Tracy is a lot of fun, but she's not the love of his life. They screwed up Luke and Laura so bad in the late 90s, and it was just unnecessary. I don't care if it's a soap opera. There are some things you just don't touch.

I'm gonna go with this one, because I DO NOT COMPREHEND! There are a lot of shipped pairings I don't understand, but this one, my god. W---F---T! And don't say "what the fuck", say WTF! (It sounds funnier sometimes, lol) No comprendo! They have no fluidity together! They stand there together and look hot, but they don't connect. Ms. Karen was so on the mark, "She was like one step up from a booty call." HELLO!
I don't even understand where this "deep" friendship has come from. They had a roughly six-month dating relationship where they struggled to have sex without interruption, they broke up, he came back, broke up again, then he came back and stayed, invalidating his entire reason for the second break-up and now it's like they've been best friends for years? No, not buying it. So, this pairing holds a special place in the irritation library for me.
