though i'm sorry to hear about the shawarma situation. if there's one thing necessary to life it's good middle-eastern food..

Sorry, if this went out twice. I tried responding earlier, but it didn't seem to work.

The Kingston shawarma situation is indeed tragic. However, it's encouraging to have an ally in the battle to spread middle-eastern cuisine! Is the middle-eastern food scene up to snuff in your neck of the woods?

i think it is, though i have to admit i've only been to 2.. i'm a little afraid of eating in restaurants. however, the neighbourhood is chock-full of indian, thai, and vietnamese restos.. whoopee.
