set sail, everyone!
Welcome to your world change for the summer! Starting on JUNE 19TH, residents will be thrown onto ships to have a massive, sea-faring adventure into waters and islands unknown! This plot will last 11 days and during this time you and your crew will be sailing towards an unknown destination... Fabled to be the place where the world ends and a new land awaits!

( wait, what? )
On the morning of the 19th, characters will wake up on ships docked on their first islands. Each crew is given a 'magical map' which shows their ship's route and the path they must sail on. The goal is to reach paradise past 'World's Edge'. The map itself is enchanted, it will show your ship's route like so--But none of the others. If you try and stray away from the line, you will be met with sea monsters and horrible weather.

Meaning you'd all sink and die.

( what about powers? )
We are asking you to tone down your character's powers. PLEASE PUT YOUR CHARACTERS AT 50% FOR THIS PLOT. Water their powers down so they do not game-break events. There will be fights, yes, but overall this is a light-hearted plot. There will be no deaths... but we have also decided that NO FLYING ABILITIES are allowed.

Also, if you happen to have a character with multiple abilities please tone those down. If you're having trouble you may choose one--Think Evangeline will only be able to use martial arts she's learned and ice spells. This is just to keep everyone on somewhat the same level.

( what about ponies? )
If you play a pony, a time lord, a kryptonian, or anything else non-human, you have the option of humanizing the character. Keep in mind, though, that the watering-down of powers will apply regardless, and people like Clark Kent and Rainbow Dash couldn't fly even if they kept their normal form.

( ships )
Two of the ships are old galleons while the third is a luxury cruise liner. You cannot leave your ship or crew. The point of this plot is to garner more CR between your group. You will not be able to leave your initial ship to start your own crew--The best one can get is a dinghy, and even then, you won't be able to make it out on your own with the Navy going after pirates.

( navy? )
Keep a look out, because we will be putting up another sign-up post for both Navy and dropped NPCS. Nine characters will be able to AU-bend their histories to be in this world-change's Navy and will go up against the residents on their ships.

Characters allied with the Navy are the 'peace-keepers' of the sea. They're out to capture you pirates and their members are known for their brutality. They might have been your friends once, but they've changed for some reason...

Characters who sign up as part of the Navy will be under the influence of 'I HAVE BEEN A KEEPER OF JUSTICE FOR AS LONG AS I REMEMBER!' The nine characters will be set on specific islands for the crews to run into. They will also be capturing members in one of the routes.

Post-plot, characters can choose to remember all that they did during this plot or not. Sign-ups and more information about these roles will be up in a day or two.

( dropped npcs? )
The NPCs of this plot will be different from past plots. NINE OF THEM will be played by you, the players. They will be dropped or past characters you've played before. These characters are extremely important for the plot!

They'll return with no memories of the castle or CR, nor will they remember their original canons. You will be playing these characters as if they grew up on their respective islands their whole lives.

Each character will be given a role and are the ones who will move the plot along. They will drop hints for the crew members or set up key events such as the jailbreak for ROUTE A. There will also be six plot-running NPCs played by those running this plot or helpers.

Sign-ups and more information about these roles will be up in a day or two.

( okay, anything else? )
Characters will still have their journals, so you may bounce info or discoveries back and forth between the crews.

Our islands are all based of actual locations; some are even based on famous cities. While they are indeed very similar, they are not exactly the same. No famous landmarks exist on the islands, and if your characters may have visited the real-life locations, they will find that the streets and landmarks aren't exactly the same. In other words, while your character might notice the similarities, they are different enough that they can't just say that a place is so and so from Earth.

Once the plot starts there will be day-to-day announcements, so that you're not lost if you happen to skip out on a day or three! And, as always, backtagging is encouraged!

choose your own adventures!
This plot has three possible routes for characters to end up on. Each three is gauged on activity and how involved want to be. One is more fast-pace, while the another is more medium-paced... The final route is considered to be our opt-out option, or the laid back route.

route A.ROUTE A will be our most 'adventurous', more active route. The islands are a lot harsher than those in other routes as well. The crew will start off on a deserted and desolate island (GUNKANJIMA) before setting off for their second. Their second stop is a Tortuga-inspired island (CAP-HAITEN) and a small run-in with the Navy. ROUTE B will have a number of their crew members captured by the Navy players and it will be up to ROUTE A to set them free in a jail break. How? Their third island is Purgatorio (VENICE) which happens to be where the Navy's HQ and prison is located.

route B.ROUTE B will be our 'medium' paced route. This crew will start of on a port island (MYKONOS) before sailing towards Death Hill, a desert island. On (KOLMANSKOP) Death Hill, Navy'd characters will capture between five and eight crew members. They must sail on without them, but ROUTE A will set them free days before the plot ends. The third island of this route happens to be the Great Walled City (KOWLOON WALLED CITY) and characters here are given the chance to buy or find small trinkets from their respective home-worlds.

route C.ROUTE C is our opt-out and mellow route. This route also has the least amount of islands, which is only two (KOH LANTA and BORACAY). There will be no trouble, fights, or conflict--The crew will spend four days on two separate islands. Think partying for the next eleven days. Also, this is the only crew who will have a luxury cruise liner for a ship while the other two get galleons.

PLEASE SIGN EACH OF YOUR CHARACTERS UP FOR WHICH ROUTE YOU WANT. If you have more than two or three characters, please consider spacing them out so you don't overload yourself. A good example would be one character in ROUTE A and B while the rest are on ROUTE C. We don't want people stressing themselves out for this plot.
