As our Spotlight is coming up on Monday, we need to clean up/update the Requested characters page.

We have until the end of the weekend to finish this. Thanks guys <3

I vote the whole thing gets purged so we can have only the newest, freshest requests on the page. 90% of these requests are so old, you guys.

Old, but maybe still relevant. I'd sooner suggest people delete requests that aren't big priorities or are for fandoms we don't have casts for anymore.

Yeah, but if they were relevant, wouldn't people just...add them back? And not everyone is going to clean out what they added on there and they don't want anymore. So you're just going to have a lot of stuff on there no one's sure they should touch, just in case.

Hmm, hmm, hmm. For now I'm just going to delete requests for casts we don't have, and people can edit in what they see fit from there, but I welcome more input from others reading this thread, too.

I was thinking purging, too. But we run into problems either way.

If we leave it as is, Kaye's right... I wouldn't want to delete anything that wasn't my direct cast because I don't know what people still want.

But if we delete everything, there are probably people who wouldn't think to go on and reupdate... :-/

I've gone through and taken off casts we don't have anymore (other than ones with single-character requests that seemed really specific like Carmen San Diego) but honestly, if we purged it, I think we'd just get the same massive castlists popping up. Last time we started this from scratch the page was gigantic with all the big castlists.
