Casually rolling her shoulders, Yoruichi shut the book and stood up. It was going to be interesting training some one in a castle full of people. Maybe, since it had been said that the castle could give her whatever she wanted, it could give her a private training area for Tatsuki.

As she thought about this, she made her way from her room, up the staircase and was now at the top of the steps. She figured she might be able to find a private training area on the first floor if she looked hard enough or just asked the castle. It didn't really matter now, as she only had a simple exercise in mind for now.

She stopped and turned to face a door when the feeling of Tatsuki's reiatsu was strongest. Sure enough she was at the right room. Without bothering to knock, she opened the door and let herself in, closing it behind her.

Her journal landed on the desk as she tossed it and cut right to the chase. "So Arisawa, what does my reiatsu feel like to you at this moment? Describe it for me in color, texture, sound, smell and taste."

Tatsuki jumped about three feet in the air when Yoruichi just... waltzed into the room. Not only the suddenness of the sounds, but the feeling of the reiatsu...

It was still a little difficult for her to pick up on. The only reiatsus Tatsuki could feel were very strong ones. And at the moment... Yoruichi's was pretty clear.

Tatsuki got right down to business, neither questioning nor protesting. She simply shut her eyes and tried to concentrate on it.

"It's .. purple," she said, right off the bat. "In texture, it's sort of ... smooth, I guess. Feels like it would flow or mold really well." The last three she had a little more trouble with. They involved her other external senses, which, in their heightened state, picked up on everything else in the room more clearly as well. It meant some of the signals got mixed. But she remained calm, thinking. She forced herself to focus on Yoruichi's reiatsu, and really concentrate"It sounds ... quiet, sort of like leaves in the wind or something. But smell, and taste...?" She opened her eyes ( ... )

Without blinking, Yoruichi ticked off Tatsuki's reiatsu on her fingers. "Yours is a bright red-orange color that's pretty sturdy, but rough around the outside. It sounds like a fist connecting with a punching bag, smells like cinnamon and tastes like tomato sauce," she finished with a yawn.

"Taste and smell don't have to be related at all, yet it means nothing if they are," she informed the girl. She reached over, grabbed the chair from the desk and pulled it towards her. Swinging her leg over the seat, she sat, facing the back of the chair. Her arms lay over the top of the back with her chin rested comfortably on those.

"You've got to be able to tell all five things right away when you feel a reiatsu for the first time. Some reiatsus may have a lot in common, such as those belonging to twins or even just regular siblings. Sometimes two complete strangers might have nearly identical reiatsu; that's why all aspects are needed. Granted, that may not be needed here, but it certainly helps a great deal," she grinned. "Now let's have you ( ... )

Tatsuki blinked a few times. Did her reiatsu really feel like all of that? That was a weird concept to wrap her mind around. And hell, tomato sauce? Tatsuki couldn't decide if that was insulting or not.

But again, she took Yoruichi's instructions without question and merely shut her eyes again, ready to try once more. Her only acknowledgement was a nod.

She quickly reeled off the first three again - the color purple, the texture smooth, the sound of leaves. Then she paused for the second time. "It tastes... like plums," she said, after a moment, her expression suddenly thoughtful. "And smells like lavender. That's weird. I dunno how I didn't notice it before, actually."
