Who: Alan Bradley and anyone else. (That means you!)
What: A day in the life of Alan.
When: Thursday, Dec. 8
Where: All around the castle.
Rating: G-ish?
Notes: Open for CR and/or any (parent-like!) kissing that the fairies might cause. Also, I'm open to both prose and actionspam :) Just put in the subject where you find him and what the fairies are up to.
It figured that after the endless piles of leaves, the castle would do the same thing with snow.
Now, Alan didn't mind the snow; it was beautiful, he couldn't deny that. Not to mention that the Christmas decorations around the castle were beautiful (not including those fairies - thankfully they'd mostly left him alone, though they were never far away from his person.) What he didn't enjoy was the chill and damp that autumn had promised sinking into his bones. He'd followed James' advice earlier that morning, keeping warm rice bags on his knees while he worked on his computer, but it wasn't like he could walk around with them on.
Before noon, he's in the library, doing some more research, before heading down to make himself lunch in the kitchen. After that, he can be found making his way up to the Four Seasons room. Alan's heard of it, but he's not really been inside before - and he's happy to find that it's decked out for the summer season, sunny and warm. Later that evening, Alan's down in the lobby again, messing around with a piece of Grid technology - some sort of holographic datapad, from the looks of it.
