It was a conversation apparently a long time coming. Nikola had delayed in telling Helen of his relationship with Maladict for reasons that Helen couldn't understand. She'd teased Nikola a little, or at least had wanted to get an honest reaction out of him and what she'd heard (as surprising as it may have been - it was Nikola) was nice. And she did like Maladict, particularly her spirit and her manner regarding Nikola. So she'd decided that they had to meet too - to talk and hear Maladict's side. As much as she liked her Nikola was an old friend, and as a big of a pain in the ass he was she still wished his safety. And that was why she was there, at Maladict's door.
