Stocking is on her way into town, smoothing out the lapel of her coat as she hums this song under her breath. She remembers it idly as one of those songs Minato was listening to a while back when he was a resident, and she smiles fondly.
Her mind wanders from Minato to what exactly will be her destination today. She does not feel like going to the Beehive - maybe it is time to try something new for once.
Also, she has to make sure she does not trip over these kids. Cute, but messy. She really is not looking to dirty her dress.
Hello, Stocking. The Midnighter recognises her at once, of course, but stays where he is. He has no real aversion to people seeing his face or knowing his 'identity', but he has moods. And there's a time for everything.
One of the children, by the way, is waving her hand; trying to get Stocking's attention. What are you going to do?
Teal eyes acknowledge him for a moment before she focuses on the child who has her attention now. She kneels down and inquires as to what the child nabbed her attention for. (She is also silently hoping her dress doesn't get splashed sob...)
It seems like the child wants to know if Stocking can help her! You see, her marble rolled over by the tall man on the bench, and it's now behind his foot. He doesn't seem to have noticed, and she's a little shy to go over and ask for it herself. Help a girl put?
She claps her hands together excitedly and steps forward to take the marble.
"Ah! Thank you~ And yes, this little gem is why she was looking over at you so much. If you'll excuse me," she turns and goes back to the little girl, kneeling down to hand her the marble and accepting Honekoneko back into her grasp. She reaches into the basket on her arm and hands the little girl a small wrapped bag before waving her off.
As Stocking straightens herself and dusts off her dress, she debates if maybe she is going crazy or not. This guy sounds really familiar...
She walks back over to the guy, basket and Honekoneko in hand, as she nods her head. "Thank you, again, for the marble."
"Never, unless you're also one of those masked freaks running around this place." Like Wild Tiger, except this guy isn't a tall ass twig. "Then maybe in your masked form we have."

"Good afternoon," she chirps as she comes up to the guy in question. "Do you mind if I ask a favor of you for the moment?"

"Is that why she kept looking at me, then?"
His voice is gruffer than usual, but otherwise, he makes no particular effort to change it.
