The midnight was not so very nightlike, and not so very close to black. But it was a time in the evening that existed, and that seemed timely enough for Del. Most times were timely enough for Del as she didn't tend to make much note of time as it was. Such things passed, tracking them was just a little excessive.
The timely time for a visit had arrived, and Del made her slow meandering way towards the person she wanted -he had been missing so very long. His rest wasn't nearly restful, it made her want to march in two-by-twos. Though and through.
They had no snicker snack and the blue wasn't very bladey when all of the fuzziness led him to being curls.
