When: The Night Before Thanksgiving.
Notes: There will be three sections for the three different "times" they've supposedly had Thanksgiving together in their implied history past. These things aren't "happening"

The One With the First Thanksgiving...

[She can do this. It's just Thanksgiving with her friend from High School, the guys across the hall, her brother, and her roommate. Who cares if this is the first big dinner she's hosted in years! She can .. oh, crap, is that the potatoes burning??]

[and this will be Max hovering over her shoulder, because there are so many GOOD SMELLS. Mmmmmm -- Thanksgiving.]

I don't... think so? I don't know. I think I've got everything.

Does it look... wrong? It feels like something is going to go wrong.

[shakes her head before shrugging]

I've never really had a big Thanksgiving, but it all looks good to me.

It's not too big is it? Oh, God, what if I made too much food?

[shakes her head]

No, it's fine. Jo.

[turns to face her a little more]

I'm from a major economic depression. We don't normally have a lot of food. So anything more than a turkey sandwich is a big dinner for me.

[Spike let himself in while you had your backs turned. He doesn't care at all about Thanksgiving, but he's a good sport generally.]

Wow, you didn't tell me the Army was coming by. I would have put on more camouflage.

[and Max will just ... give Spike a very friendly jab to the stomach.]

[ROLLS HER EYES. Gee, Spike. Why did she ever think you were cute?]

[Spike makes an appropriate 'ow' noise when Max jabs him hard enough to leave a bruise (or so he'd tell it). You guys are way too serious about a silly holiday.]

Not that I'm complaining. Everyone likes leftovers.

[no, Spike, it probably was hard enough to leave a bruise. She hits hard.]

[The door opens revealing a very bedraggled and soaked Gwaine. He don't look too happy.]

...Hi. I got the cranberries.

[And the cranberries are miraculously intact.]

[Oh boy. Spike would make some unenthusiastic comment about how the party can start now that the cranberries have arrived, but he's afraid of what Max might do.

He goes with a manly acknowledging head nod instead.]

[Manly acknowledging nods are good. He can do those.]

Spike. [He sets the cranberries on the counter.]

[Jo'll grab the cranberries off the counter and go to start preparing them.]
