Where: The Onsen/Hot Springs
What: Do you really need me to explain? She was on the expedition. Now she's back.
When: Late Monday Evening.
It's not that the trip out to Libet went without something interesting happening, but Katherine could've done without the 'locked in a tomb' part of it. She'd avoided that fate once before, then gotten herself into that mess, and she could've gone the rest of her existence without being placed into that situation again. She had to admit that her rare streak of jealousy and wanting to get beneath Damon's skin had put her at a disadvantage for the actual expedition part of it. No doubt Lana had warned people, even if she was without her usual means of survival, she wouldn't have just made a disaster of the rest of her team. She needed them in order to ensure she could get out of the tomb.
The trip back to the castle was more irritating than anything else. Though she made it to the edge of the Dead Zone and immediately felt that return of power, even if it was minimal. Once she was within wishing range she ensured her lack of blood was quickly solved. Feeling renewed, she headed the rest of the way back to the castle and tried to clean off the miles of expedition.
Now that things had felt slightly normal, she had taken to touring the castle itself. It was possible that seeking out adventure could be as simple as taking a tour. She hadn't expected to run across something so inspired. The Onsen was so inviting, so welcoming and she couldn't even pause before moving into the warmth of the air and the light bit of humidity. It takes her hardly a moment before she's in the water and piling her hair loosely atop her head. She could spend hours in here.
