[The preparations are in place. Though it meant showing up late to their designated meeting spot for housewarming-shopping-times, they've spent practically all day picking things out and talking about plans, and-- and he almost forgot about his own surprise. Oops.
But he thinks of it as they're walking up to the door, bags and bags and bags and boxes in their arms, and it's enough to make him pick up the pace so that he can get to the door first. He sets down a couple of bags so that he can get the keys from his pocket.]
