Tuesday AKA GTFO
Despite Lana calling the building her house, it's far
more than that. In fact, the first floor isn't even a living space. It's set up much like a
lobby, with a
couple rooms off to the side housing what looks like a meeting room as well as a comfortable space tailored for therapy. The decor is more than a little feminine, with soft purples mixing in with dark woods and burnt red brick.
For all intents and purposes, it looks like a rather elegant business. One that isn't even used, supposedly.
The second floor is where the guests will be staying, unless there's an overflow. It's also taken it's decorating cues from the first floor, but it's far less sharp. Much more homey. The leather couch is filled with decorative pillows, and wraps around the wall, finished with a recliner and attached coffee table. The television isn't very large, but the sound system more than makes up for it should anyone want to watch movies. There's also a rather large book-case with a wide variety of books, split between fiction and non. Any non-fiction you'll find will no doubt somehow relate to past events in Paradisa.
The hardwood floors continue beyond there into the small kitchen, cluttered but hardly disorganized. Everything has it's place, and she has no shortage of food or coffee. In fact, you can bet she will be forcing very
special coffee on anyone who walks through her doors, not that anyone needs to know why!
Lana's
bedroom is closed off, along with the master bath, and Chloe's old
bedroom has already been promised to Clark and Lois. But she has several bedrolls set aside for anyone else camping out in the living room.
The nearby bathroom is rather compact, but also fully stocked and decorated just as much as any other room. Soaps, shampoos, bubbles, candles, and bath salts, oh my! Even better is a Victorian bathtub to enjoy them with. Just try not to get carried away in there, boys and girls.
Anyone knowing her from home would be remiss to not notice that Luthor flare hanging over the type of oddities one might have found at the Talon when she ran it. Each room even has rather unique
blown glass hanging lamps to add even more ambiance.
Also? Please try not to step on the small black lab puppy probably yapping at your feet for attention and treats. Clark's dogs, Shelby and Krypto, have also joined the slumber party, but considering they're already grown, they seem to be handling the change better.
