Rose was already settled in at the bar. It seemed like she hardly left some days. The bartenders knew her by name and even she knew that was a bad thing. Still, she was making progress. Smiling a little more. Avoiding Damon a lot more. That seemed to be the prescribed regimen for her.
However, tonight wasn't about wallowing in self-pity and loathing. Tonight was about getting that date that Nikola had promised her. From what she'd heard, he was bothering Helen a bit too much so James had pimped him out to her.
And if he didn't arrive soon, she was going to be tipsy by the time he showed up. Or worse.
