Finally he rose, setting the cup aside and made his way to Felix's work room with a resigned sort of sigh. He did not think the other would come out for dinner, but he cared, so he went to ask, knocking on the door.]

It is fine Felix. I know why you have been so busy, and I would be lying if I said I did not approve. Just come to dinner.
[Though it does hurt that his own lover would not remember in the first place and have to be reminded. He did not make a large deal of his birthday, to be honest, he let the servants and courtiers do that back home, but his lover? He expected him to at least say something.]
