I was born in the arms of imaginary friends

Who: River Song and Eleven
What: The Doctor finally notices that River has moved herself into the TARDIS
When: June 7th
Where: Eleven's TARDIS
Rating: It's River, so probably PG-13 at the most

There were subtle clues to River's existence. Such as, the brand new door that had just appeared out of nowhere alongside the Doctor's bedroom. The TARDIS had welcomed her. He really ought to be thankful the sly Old Girl hadn't given them adjoining rooms. She'd been living in the TARDIS for at least a week and still no sign of her bowtie Doctor. Not that it bothered her. River was an adventurer and curious by nature, so she'd been keeping busy exploring this little pocket dimension.

Still, he might have noticed odd things. Areas of the TARDIS that other companions didn't usually breach, such as his drawing room, showed signs of another presence. Books left out that he hadn't read. The kitchen contained food he hadn't made. Actually, the kitchen was where he would find her. It was late evening and it seemed Doctor Song was whipping herself up a snack. She could just wish the food into existence, but she didn't appear to trust wished food. From the smell of it, she was making a batch of her infamous chicken banana salad.
