Lilah had been out for the day, looking around the town for the day. She felt restless, sometimes, being cooped up in the Castle too long. But more than that, she felt restless without anything to do. Every day that passed she missed her office back at Wolfram and Hart more and more. And somehow, she doubted there was much use for a lawyer in this place. Which meant she would eventually have to find something else to do with herself, but what she would do, she didn't really have an idea on yet.
Which meant a lot of her time was spent reading through the journals, keeping an eye on what everyone else was up to. In particular, Angel and his buddies. Which is what she had been doing last night, when she had stumbled across that entry of Fred's. Something almost akin to jealous had settled inside her as she had read it, but she tried to tell herself it didn't matter. After all, she and Wesley weren't in a relationship. He was free to go after whover he wanted. It's not like it mattered. Fred clearly had feelings for that Peter person. She would choose over Wesley once more, and someday maybe he'd learn.
But for now, she was heading back into the castle, walking through the hall of the lobby when who should she spot but Wesley himself. She changed her direction, heading toward him. She hadn't seen him in a few days, not since they had set up their bet.
