So... it's Valentines Day. Paul had never put any stock in the holiday, partly due to having never really been in an actual relationship, and partly because of the sheer cheeziness of the thing. However, this year's different. He's in a stable relationship. It might not be his cup of tea... or coffee... but he should at least do something.
He's never been one for the cliche, and he's certainly not about to give Ianto some chocolate and call it good. Given the castle's love of ruining all things holiday, staying in their room was probably the safest bet. So he's set up a nice table, a few tastefully arranged candles (white, NOT red), and a dinner that looked as good as it was going to taste.
Setting some opera to play quietly in the background, he picks up a book and sits in his favorite arm chair to wait for Ianto.
