When: Night of January 30

Time ticked long into the night, and for hours Naoto never left her spot. Seated at her desk, a lamp on as she had three books laying before her: Her journal, a seperate notebook and the book left in the library labeled as Observations on Paradisa, the book left behind by Raine. Her journal was open to the pages dedicated to the observations and expeditions of the residents, including that map that was found.
The amount of data collected on the world was stunning, but it was moreso that despite all of the information, it barely answered any questions at all. If any. Naoto frowned, looking between the journal and the observations book, making notes within the notebook for her own personal reference. She carefully copied the information from both books - word for word, detail for detail - without a moment's break. She had been at it for hours, and it was a tiring process, but she wouldn't allow fatigue to best her until she was finished. Even then, once she had finished, she would spend more time studying the information and making her own theories; looking for any sort of clue to answer any question regarding the castle.
None of it would come to any avail, of course, but if nothing else it meant Naoto had her own book of reference should she ever lose her journal or lose access to the book that she had every intention on returning to the library once she was finished with it. Raine leaving behind this book was practically a godsend, given the wealth of information it had. Between this book of Raine's, as well as all of the compiled data courtesy of Lois and the other residents, the majority of Naoto's notebook had been filled. She would need another notebook to make her own, seperate theories.
Time ticked further into the night, before at last, Naoto finally set down her pen. Her hand was cramped, but minor cramps were well worth the trouble. She flexed her hand a few times, open and closed, before she picked up her notebook. She idly turned the pages, skimming through all of the data she copied and making certain she had made no mistakes. She closed her eyes, giving them a few minutes rest before they opened again. It was taxing on her, but the data seemed too precious to not keep copies of... files could be lost or damaged at any time, and she wanted to be ready with a copy of her own should anything happen.
The notebook was closed as Naoto stood, walking over to the nightstand next to her bed: one that had a lock. She stood for a moment before reaching into her pocket, pulling out the single key that she carried. Kneeling down, she fit the key into the lock, twisting it open and pulled open the drawer. It contents already consisted of items such as a spare gun and ammunition, and now it contained the blue cover notebook as she carefully placed it in. She stared at it for a moment, a small, accomplished smile coming onto her face before she closed the drawer again; twisting the lock and removing the key. After two good tugs to try to pull the drawer open, to ensure that it was locked, Naoto wandered back to her desk. Seating herself again, she looked at the page her journal was open to: the map of what appeared to be the continent. She stared at is, as if trying to etch the very image permanently within her mind, trying to assess what the other landmarks could be.
Most importantly, the mark that was in the corner of the map... the one that had the same mark as Cair Paradisa itself.
She wanted answers. She wanted to solve this badly. There was no way she alone could find any information, however. As troubling as that was.
Soon enough, Naoto let out an exhausted sigh, closing the two remaining books on the desk. She stood again, looking up to the ceiling and staring for a few moments.
"Cair Paradisa... you truly are an enigma."
Lowering her head again, she sighed before approaching her door, leaving the confines of her room at last.
