It was only a dream. Only a dream. She kept telling herself that, but she didn't want to believe it. She refused to accept it, because she was home. Her father was there by the piano and even if it was the wrong day for Christmas it was still Christmas. It was Christmas at home, with her family. It was a dream, sure. Still, it was the best dream Sanya had had in a long time. Was this what happened if she went to sleep at the start of the night? After all, that was what had happened. She had just felt drowsy and fallen asleep. Oh well. At least she remembered. Or maybe it would be better if she didn't.
There was still something missing from this dream, though. She knew there was. And Sanya knew exactly what it was that was missing, too. Or, rather, who was missing.
Hey, it was a dream, right? She should be able to just go ahead and call her up, right. So she thought very hard about wanting Eila there, because Christmas was kind of empty, in dreams or not, without her. And hey, while she was lucid dreaming there were afew things she could go ahead and say to her, right?
