She did, on some level, at least trust him. )
"Sylar's out on the search parties, but there's been a location found. I know him and Peter are going to try and help, and I'd like to be able to go out there." Elle sighed, wringing her hands together lightly, "I just want to make sure they don't do anything stupid."
Glancing to Molly, she took a moment before she looked back to Mohinder, "I was hoping you could watch Molly. It's not that I don't trust her staying in the ballroom with Roy and the others, I just -"
There is an unspoken moment there, something that implies - should Sylar do something stupid or should she get hurt, two weeks is a long time to stay with a stranger while she waits for Sylar and Elle to return.
"My loss... I can't feel pain, so if I got hurt - I might not even notice it until it was too late. I'd rather know Molly was with someone that she could rely on."

Mohinder sighed and knew the girl was probably listening so he chose his words carefully in an attempt to not alarm Molly. "Right, well should you become indisposed...Molly will always have a home with me. " He murmured quietly.

She wants to add in something about how she doesn't want a fight when she comes back for her later.
"We should be back tomorrow, at the latest. But, if you wanted her to stay a few days, it might be better. Just in case, things don't go to plan. She knows we'll be back."

"For her sake I hope you get back safely," he replied before looking back at Elle. "Do be careful out there."

Glancing to Molly, she knew that goodbyes didn't work out so well for her, so she just waved.
"Be safe yourself, we're not sure how these people are getting taken, but if we're wrong out there... just be safe."

She knew that this was the right choice to make, even if it would probably upset Molly in some way or another.

Then with another breath she moved away from the doorway and down the hall, knowing that if she hesitated any longer, she'd probably talk herself out of it all.
