Who: Abel and Cain
What: Someone's been suppressing memories. And it isn't really working that great anymore D; hint: it's not Abel
When: Late Wed. night, March 17th
Where: The Catholic church's clergy quarters
Rating: PG-13 for inevitable mention of gruesome acts against humanity blah blah lawl.

Perhaps his paranoia was ill-founded, but Abel simply couldn't help it.

Even almost two weeks after Cain's return - and it was a return, as if he'd been plucked directly from his fondest memories - he couldn't permit himself to wholly relax. It wasn't that he distrusted his brother at all... he did. Completely, despite everything that had happened. He believed - no, knew - that Cain had no part in the things 01 had done. Perhaps he had harbored a secret, underlying hatred of humanity just as Abel had, but Cain had been much more open in his love of them, as well. He had never attempted to hide his affection for anyone. He'd been their friends, their benevolent, beloved leader, once upon a time...

He'd been Abel's brother, always. His twin. Other half. There was no reason to distrust him.

This was not 01. This... was not 01.

But it would be.

He stared at the ceiling, much as he had a majority of the past week, unable to sleep despite the dark circles under his eyes and the fatigue that had him all but walking into walls like a bumbling idiot he so often pretended to be. When would Paradisa revert to its previous state? When would all of this be over?

When would 01 once more have control? Control... and proximity to her?

He turned onto his side, away from the room and his twin seemingly peacefully asleep against the other wall. He didn't know. He didn't know, and it was driving him crazy. History wouldn't repeat itself. It simply wouldn't.

He wouldn't allow it.

...Now if only he could believe himself when he said as much...
