Who: Cloud Strife, Tear Grants, & Travis Touchdown
What: If they can't bring him back...they can at least help him see what he had taught Cloud in the first place.

Where: Quite a distance out from the castle...wherever Travis had taken to licking his wounds. Both physically and mentally.

The ride out on Fenrir had been a surprisingly calming one. There was no exchange of words between the blond and the fonist whose arms were wrapped securely around his waist. The chill of this world was beginning to creep up on them, but for Cloud, he would not waver. As much as he liked the idea of handling all that he could by himself, to prevent others from getting involved and preventing those he cared about from getting in danger...
He needed Tear for this. More than anyone in the castle, she and Cloud at this moment could do this. Before Luke came back, this was what he felt he needed to do for him. What he could do for him, with her help. He had his materia ready, weapon kept within the confines of the massive motorcycle as he roared beyond the first barrier without giving out. He'd have to thank Professor Raine and her crew for making this possible. All they needed now was to uncover more secrets of this world. He didn't know when, or how they'd find him, but he felt lucky.
Cloud wasn't alone, and if not being able to talk some sense into him, maybe, just maybe, he could come back home with them, to give himself time to think in a place where they knew he was safe. That was what he had hoped for. The fonist would repay her debt to him for giving her time to heal from her loss this way.
