Think what you may of her, but Misa is a shopping guru. A gust of wind sent a mask of knitted cotton in her eyes, and Misa stopped to straighten her striped scarf. It was cold, but she was still wearing a mini skirt over thick leggings and knee high boots. Even in Paradisa, Misa still felt like she had to dress like an idol. She imagined that this look would've been popular three years in the future in Tokyo, on runways and stuff, especially with the chic black leather jacket. Leather is always hot.
"Kiko-chan needs warmer clothes and Chie--right?" She looked her up and down. "Um, let's just start from scratch, okay?"

Yukiko, thankfully for her modesty, had avoided the linking; that probably went to Chie, or Kanji-kun, or whoever would fluster even more. She followed Misa's finger to a line of shops. "We do, but...shouldn't there be sweaters or something first?"

She leaned back to look over everyone. Wow, in a group like this, having name-seeing eyes really was helpful. Unfortunately, some of them really needed a stylist's help...

Aliases where the part that she hated about the eyes... trying to remember what people go by without slipping up was hard for someone as impulsive as her. It's partly why she gives most people her own nickname. It was easier to remember. Plus it seems more friendly. Hopefully, she'd recognize Beat's funny way of speaking before she said something stupid.
"Are you and Chie really close?"

"Yep! And you're Misa-san, right? Nice to meet you!" She replied with a small smile.

"Ah ha, you don't have to be so formal," she laughed, brushing her hair out of her eyes. Wind in Paradisa was still kind of weird for her. "Misa-Misa is fine. It's nice to meet you, too!"

"All righty then, Misa-Misa! Are you, uh, ready for this shopping we've got ahead of us?" she said, trying her best to sound pumped.

She was very satisisfied by the tastes of some of her fellow shoppers. She herself had chosen to wear more modest and simple clothes compared to what she normally wore. For this trip, she decided on a turtleneck, peacoat, skinny pants, and fur-lined (fake of course) boots.
"Oh totally!" Shiki exclaimed at Misa's comment on the line of stores. "Those have a pretty big selection."

He sees Shiki among a group of girls (and one boy) that he hadn't the pleasure of meeting yet... And one he had. "Fancy seeing you here. Room for one more?" Looking directly at the blonde, he put a hand under his chin and hummed. Now, where had they met before...?

"Joshua, this is Misa-Misa! Misa-Misa, this is Joshua. He's a friend from home, but we met here."

Misa shifted her gaze away from the shops to the new boy. Oh, that guy.
"Yeah! I remember you! You're that guy from when our memories were all over the place."
Which means he's also the person she told about her eyes. Uh oh, she would have to keep an ...eye on this situation. Instead, she said, "I didn't know you liked shopping! And you're both from the same place?"

"We're both Shibuya-locals, but we hadn't run into each other until recently." Joshua turned to Shiki and smiled. "Fate, hmm? We did have one or two mutual friends back in Shibuya, after all."

Wanting to get back on track with shopping, she tugged forward. "Come on, let's walk and talk! We have a lot of shops to hit. So are you glad you met?"
Reply
"Definitely!" Shiki laughed. "Out of everyone from home here, Joshua is the most fashion trendy."
