Billy thankfully was one to rarely get headaches, but--every once in a while--an unshakable pain would crack into his skull, a painful combination of nerves, annoyance, and frustration. This was one of those instances...the short bit since his memories had all crowded back into his head had already proved to be one of the most stressful times in the Castle for him yet. As he tossed back a little pile of pills, he heard a knock at his door. Carrying his glass of water with him, he went to answer it.
He still had to kick a pile of memories out of the way--thanks again, Castle, for using his room as a dumping ground--to crack the door open.
His eyes widened a touch and he turned to set his water down on the nearest available surface.
"Thank you. Yes. I've been, uh, looking for those."
Haha, not panicking about them, no. Just looking. His headache pounded a louder beat in his temples. His first urge was to just take them and shut the door, but with the recent rude experiences he'd had with people doing that very thing to him, he resisted.
"Um. Have we met?" He wasn't quite sure of anything anymore, and it would also tell whether this girl had her memories returned to her as well.
Shrugging Elle nodded a bit, "Over the journal, I'm Elle? I have the electrical thing?"
Shaking her head she realized how ridiculous that probably sounded, it sounded pretty bad in her head at least. Exhaling she stood up a bit straighter, "We had a talk about the pointless aspect of trying to do something evil here?"
Oh. ...Oh. He'd thought that voice sounded familiar. Well then...he stepped aside and tugged the door open a little wider.
"Oh! Yeah, you can come in. If you want."
No need to hide his place from her. His room was part room but mostly laboratory and workshop now, and the clutter--both memory and evil-scientist-related--was endless.
"Sorry for the, uh, abominable mess. Only some of it's mine."
Moving into the room she shrugged as she glanced around. It wasn't that bad, and she was pretty sure she'd seen worse during her days working for the Company. It wasn't exactly warm and cozy, but it wasn't as bad as Suresh's people farm she was sure.
"It's alright, it's one of those things where the castle gives and gives, but then we don't know what to do with all of the stuff once we have it."
Exhaling Elle glanced to him, "I watched them. I mean I shouldn't have, but you talked about what we could do here - I was curious."
"It's so thoughtful like that," he said with an eye-roll, as he worked the door closed again.
Her confession made him freeze, though, before he hesitantly turned to face her again.
"...You watched them? What were they?"
Oh god, it was something embarrassing, wasn't it? Getting humiliated by his enemies, his careful inventions failing, that one really weird evening at the Pink Pummeler's place...
He looked away at the mention of the laundromat, and busied himself with mindless straightening of papers and junk. The description of the second memory, though, caused some confusion. He looked over his shoulder and gave her a strange look.
"It was some big guy singing, and then you surprised them all, and sang some more, and then the red-haired girl was behind a bunch of seats, and then you froze the big guy -- and that's all that the video was."
Elle was pretty sure she'd handed them to him when she walked in, but now she was wondering where he put them.
"I thought I already gave them to you?" Turning around she tried to look through all the other stacks of things, before she finally spotted them, "Here they are!"
He had been pushing a stack of papers around, trying to find the tape, when she spotted it. Whirling, he snatched up the tape and hurried over to the player that the Castle had left in his room.
Beside it was a stack of tapes, a couple dozen memories from random Castle inhabitants. Hitting eject, he quickly swapped tapes, and hesitated just a moment before pressing play.
Plopping down on the floor, he watched quietly as the scenes started.

Sip of water, "...Yeah?"

Elle shrugged as she held them out from her, trying to seem as if she hadn't watched them, as if she didn't actually care what was on them.
"I figured it was easier to just bring them to you, instead of, doing the whole journal entry and hoping you'd hear it, or knew who you were."

Crossing her legs she shifted a bit, "The other was you singing at some big press conference? The same red-headed girl was there."

He held out his hand. "Do you have them? Let me see them."
Billy needed to watch it. Now.

"There, you get all quiet and she stands up, there's the girl again."
Shrugging Elle folded her arms over her chest, wondering what was with all the memories that weren't his, just around.
