Who: Claire and whoever wants an encounter with Ms. Broodsalot
What: Out with her dog.
When: Today (Thursday), late afternoon.
Where: Outside the castle somewhere.
Rating: PG-13 just in case.
Four years gone and Claire didn't know what to do with herself. Superheroes, boyfriends, relationships--it all seemed so ridiculous. She felt like she was shoved into another girl's life, and it was agitating. Especially when that other girl's friends were so insistent on trying to "cheer her up" and were most likely trying to keep an eye on her. Like she was a villain. Funny how a little maturity could make people turn.
They could waste their time if they wanted. All Claire wanted was to sort out the thoughts in her head. Sylar, Elle, Peter--how did this translate into Paradisa? What did she do without Pinehearst? Whatever would people do now that she learned how to take care of herself?
How far had she fallen and did she want to bother picking herself up?
Tired of her room, Claire made a quick exit. She took Penny with her, eventually stopping at a courtyard and letting the dog off her leash. Something bright green caught her eye from under a shrub--a tennis ball. She picked it up and threw it, Penny running after to fetch it.
