Flack paused, looking over the thing as he went. He had always been a bit of a sci-fi geek as a child, always being a fan of comic books and he used to watch that show Professor What when he could catch it, but he never thought he'd be stepping into an actual time machine.

"This is -- pretty incredible."

Hearing Rose's voice, followed by an unfamiliar one, prompted the Doctor in from the hallway, grinning broadly. He had to say, he really, really wasn't fond of the Coral, but he knew that at least one of his future selves - that one he'd run into in the trainers and the suit - had used it, and therefore, he figured that was the TARDIS Rose was more comfortable with. So, one could suffer for the sake of company, for an afternoon, he supposed.

"She really is, isn't she? Welcome aboard! I'm the Doctor, and ... you must be Don." So saying, he stepped forward and held out a hand.

Rose beamed at the sight of the Doctor. She'd met this one before, and he still had that familiar feel to him. She'd started her journey with one, and ended with another but they were always the same.

"Yeah, he does better with words when his mouth isn't agape."

Flack grinned a bit before holding out a hand to the doctor, shaking his hand firmly.

"Nice to meet you. And yeah -- there' aren't a lot of things that can really leave me speechless."
