Clark was quite fast, especially since he had the suit, and had flown outside to scan for someone in pain. Near the top of the castle he had noticed someone was bleeding rather badly in their room, and he had assumed that this guy was the fellow he had just spoken to. Clark had then flown to that floor, and managed to find a dark corner to spin out of his suit in before knocking gingerly on the door of the injured man.
"Erm...excuse me?" he called softly, knocking again. "I uh...you're hurt...and I said I would help heal you," he explained to the door, waiting patiently for some sort of confirmation before he would consider actually opening the door.
He was, afterall, Superman, and he was completely and ridiculously polite most of the time!
