What: A chance encounter on castle grounds.

Today was a perfect day to go outside - then again, every day at Paradisa was. This world had its moments of danger and chaos, but it still had many days of peaceful beauty. To Belle, peace didn't have to be boring; she found ways to add adventure to her days, if the adventure wouldn't come to her.
The country girl's morning was spent wandering the town outside of Cair Paradisa and shopping in a book store she found by chance. No matter how many times she visited the busy streets she always found something new. Today her new find was a story about the supernatural; maybe it would be scary enough to keep her awake all night.
Reading spooky stories didn't have the same effect when the sun was still in the sky, but Belle couldn't wait until nightfall to read it. She took a little peak at the first chapter, opening the leather-bound book as she walked along a low stone ledge in the castle grounds. The little peak lasted longer than intended, as by the time she turned around to pace along the ledge again, several pages had been turned, still keeping her careful balance all the while.
