Ophelia hadn't liked the castle at all, at first. She wasn't used to being around so many other people, so many humans -- she had spent most of her time back home alone, out in the open, never staying in one human village for longer than necessary; most of her kind did the same, as far as she knew. Sometimes she would go on Awakened Being hunts and have the company of other Claymores, but even then she had never really been confined to one place. The drastic change was disorienting, and it had taken her a while to adjust. But she had grown used to it, and by now Ophelia didn't mind the castle as much. She still didn't stay there all the time, but it was more often than before

Jacuzzi jumped, suddenly hearing the unexpected voice call out. Hastily turning his head, he stared at the woman making her way towards him. It occurred to him that she might have been talking to someone else, but when he glanced left and right again to check, it didn't look like there was anyone close enough for that.
"M-me?" Slowly, he lowered his hands. If she knew more about this place than he did, maybe he could ask her... He didn't know how to find anyone a little more familiar just yet and this seemed important. There were so many people here - what if they didn't know the whole story, either?
Jacuzzi swallowed. "I... I heard there were ghosts here," he replied. "And if no one knows how we're here-- I wanted to find out what's going on." He looked up at the woman worriedly.
"How we're here?" He was definitely jumpy; Ophelia held back the unpleasant smile that was threatening to show itself. "Mm, exactly, nobody knows that."
She gave him a quick look, taking in his size and general appearance. Not that she planned to fight him -- or at least not yet -- but it was always best to be sure in a place like this. People could look weak, but still have surprising power. It was both annoying and exciting; Ophelia liked to be surprised like that, it made things more fun, but at the same time it was frustrating not to be able to perceive these things.
"There are ghosts. They're usually in the kitchen," she explained, trying to be informative, like someone doing a good deed in helping him out. "But what do you mean, 'what's going on'? There's always something going on in the castle. It'd take you a long time to find out everything!"
At her words, Jacuzzi's expression changed to one of confusion. "Kitchen?" he echoed. It made sense; someone else had told him to go ask the ghosts for food, instead of trying to buy it in the city, after all, but... The woman seemed so calm about all this. Then again, maybe she happened to be someone who had always lived here and had a better idea of the details and that was why these things didn't bother her
