Gaara folded his arms, glancing down at his feet. His posture was stooped from the absence of his heavy gourd, and he kept trying not to twitch his shoulders in attempt to shift something that wasn't there. It was no use.
His new clothing was giant and uncomfortable, not as heavy as his normal robe but definitely more obtrusive. He was convinced his baggy pants were going to fall down if he tried moving too quickly (one little black tie wasn't exactly an effective belt.) The bag that was apparently meant as a replacement for his gourd was filled with boxes with sharp corners that had kept poking him in the back, so he took to dragging it on the ground next to him. Surprisingly, it hadn't ripped or anything yet.
The whole "loss" was irritating him, and the sudden change in scenery really didn't help. Nights in the desert were freezing, but snow was just ridiculous. Were he anyone else, he probably would have started grumbling about it long ago. As it stood, he just crunched on some cookie that was way too sweet and wandered around the halls to keep from passing out from overloading on sugar.
He officially hated this holiday AND WAS ALSO HOLDING THE TANUKI TEMARI GOT HIM FOR CHRISTMAS.
