Who: Ino and Kaiba.
What: Kaiba said he'd come over to show Ino holograms.
When: Uhh. This is a thread for a couple days ago, yay me~ :D;;
Where: Ino's apartment, Room 1005.
Rating: PG-13? I HAVE NO IDEA.
Despite Kaiba's intentions to meet with Yuugi - or "Yami" as he had named himself - he had become quite distracted upon reaching the Main Floor. Normally he was very prompt with meetings (he had to be as a CEO), however he'd heard an all-too-familiar noise from a nearby room. Upon inspection the room turned out to play host to numerous games, something Kaiba found interesting. Unfortunately he managed to waste over an hour inside, looking at the games and machines, briefly entering a number of the rooms towards the back. The most unusual seemed to be a combat simulator - dark, white room with circular symbols on the floor that glowed while a dry, female voice spoke out commands. He hadn't tried it for long himself, a few levels on the beginning mode. It was an application of Virtual Reality but it seemed extremely basic - or perhaps it was designed with simplicity in mind. Hard to tell.
Either way, when he realized how much time had passed Kaiba decided to head up and see Ino. With the game room just awaiting exploration (it didn't look like anyone had gone in there yet, the scores were still clear for many of the games), he didn't feel the need to stay and explain to Ino the details of holograms and how he spent several hours perfecting the images displayed through the system. Before he likely would have but now he had better things to do. It wasn't his company but the main floor would do for now - hell, he might even be able to improve the gaming system down below. If he was lucky it would put off the creators of this simulation and if not.. Well, he had something to pass the time until Mokuba found a way to bring him back into reality.
The wait was going to be a long one, especially if the Yuugi hanging around (Yuugi appeared to be as insane as ever, something Kaiba doubted could be easily replicated. Nonetheless he'd have to test his rival to make certain. The best method would be to do something that Yuugi would not normally expect. But what? It would have to be something he considered at that moment, otherwise they could program a response into the coding. That is, if they were watching his brain waves) had been here for as long as he had implied.
Upon reaching the tenth floor, Kaiba followed the numbers down to five. Unfortunately his room was just above Ino's, but fortunately she didn't know that. He planned to keep it a secret, but he doubted it would make to much of a difference if she knew. Other than her coming up to agitate him, which wasn't altogether unlikely. He imagined she would, once she crafted the idea that they were friends into her noggin, come to visit every once in a while. It was a girl thing, they did that to him. A large number of women tended to flock to his mansion if he gave them the slightest bit of attention - or even if he didn't acknowledge their existence. It was hard being a rich CEO sometimes. Thankfully they wouldn't bother him when he was sixty, it was an age to look forward to.
Of course he'd had enough money to retire ten times over when he was thirteen. Go Kaiba Power go. Working had given him something to do, and it meant he could put the education Gozaburo put him through to good use.
Musings aside, Kaiba made it to room 1005. He knocked, forcefully and loudly to ensure he got Ino's attention no matter where she was and announced himself, "It's Kaiba."
