Who: Shihouin Yoruichi and Urahara Kisuke
What: A visit from a forgotten friend
When: Sunday evening
Where: Urahara's room, 1415
Rating: PG?

The recorded noise of the journal slamming shut echoed across the otherwise silent room. To Yoruichi, that abruptness from her old comrade stung. He hadn't even bothered to end their conversation. Coming from most people, she would have laughed or shrugged at the sudden action, but with him it was different. It was usually different. She knew very well that it hadn't been anything she'd done; he'd have let her know of that. Yet the lack of communication between them...

Growling a bit, she shut her own journal and idly tossed it on her bed. It was a high probability that nothing in there would hold her interest at the moment; her mind was too preoccupied. She didn't like that.

The shinigami gracefully rose from the desk chair and went to the door, opening it and closing it as she exited the room.

It only took a few steps until she was standing in front of his door, the name plate a glaring reminder of what lay inside. As she knocked, her chest rose and fell a bit as she took an involuntary breath. She had mentioned that she would be dropping by soon. Perhaps soon would be sooner than either of them had expected.
