Kaylee was having a great time starting to work on what would hopefully be her best blanket fort ever. She knew that she had been really sad lately, and no matter where she looked Drizzt and the others just weren't there. She missed him a lot still but the castle had been kind enough to give her back her drow plushie, which was sitting in her hammock. So technically she wasn't alone as she had the plushie, her two robots, and Addiena ... if she summoned her.
When the Doctor came inside she was about ready to jump out from underneath her blankets but then he said the word 'hiding' so she stayed put.
Of course there was absolutely nothing suspicious about the giggling blanket blob in the middle of the room.
He grinned when the blanket blob on the floor started giggling. She was going to play this game, was she? Well, if that was the case, he'd play along. He stepped around the room, pretending to be looking for her.
"Where can she have gone? She was here earlier ..." He checked under the bed. "Nope. Was she ... eaten by a monster? Did she fly out the window?" He looked out the window. "Nope."
He sighed melodramatically. "Looks like she's gone and disappeared on me. Now who'm I gonna build a blanket fort with?" He gave the blob another glance, still grinning.
Kaylee giggled again. Silly Doctor - she couldn't fly out the window!
She peeked out from under the blanket and saw where his shoes were and crept toward them a little bit before finally pushing the blanket off of her and beaming up at him from between her messy hair.
He put on a look that could've passed as genuine surprise when she appeared at his feet. "There you are! My, what a good hiding place. I never would've found you." He crouched down next to her, smiled.
"It might just be me, but your fort's a bit floppy."
