When’s the last time you heard a ---n o i s e--- like this?
It’s not a howl, it’s a scream, it’s a screech, it’s a noise that resonates with pain pain pain.
It’s the cry of a monster, and it repeats, echoes, tears through your bones because it’s not just a noise, it’s a cry, it’s a call, it’s a plea of despair, a plea for salvation and punishment.
It’s a monster.
(Yeah, right. Monsters don’t plead.)
Pale eyes the color of glass, embedded in black, piercing, glaring, and the yellow glass encrusted across its eyes make it seem blind. (Where have you seen those eyes, that glass before?) Red-black fur, ivory claws, dripping fangs - it’s hideous, kill it, kill it. Purge this place of one more bit of squalid filth.
But then again, you might not even have to. It’s already dying, because there’s a iron spike going through its paw, its shoulder, its chest - it’s dying, it’s bleeding, and maybe that’s why the way it’s howling is cracked and staggered and pained.
The collar of barbed wire digs into its neck, and it’s leaving a trail of red as it drags itself up up up up with a purpose. It seems to want to go somewhere, because it won't stop, it just wants to go, up the stairs, past these wire fences, up to a place with the numbers 2-5-0-8. Why?
Maybe it’s waiting for something.
Maybe it wants to die there.
Maybe it’s apologizing.
Maybe it's repenting.

[ooc; Okay! So uhhhh Matt was killed by Pyramid Head and has been reincarnated for the day as some mutant dog-wolf-thingamajigger! :) He will slowly be making his way up the stairs from the entrance of the castle up to Mello's room, and will then be lingering there for the rest of the day once he gets there.
People who are good with spiritual energy might notice that he still has the same energy, it's just contaminated and warped. Feel free to run into him on his way or on the 25th floor hallway? He’ll snarl at you if you come near, and eventually attack if you get too close, but he won’t follow you, so you could probably run away without too much difficulty. Also, exorcist/holy/ghost-bustin’ people, feel free to kill him! *dies* He’ll put up a decent fight, but he should go down without too much difficulty with a good blast of holy-fu. If you're not a holy person, sorry, he can't die, not just yet. ): You can try, but he'll recover after a bit and attack you.
For the record, because I am a FREAK and have NO LIFE, I designed the monster so there are some things about him that are meant to resemble Matt - being a dog obviously shows his blind loyalty, the yellow glass is his goggles, the dappled fur on his shoulders is his striped shirt, the black paws are his gloves/boots. The spikes are placed where he was shot when he died, and the barbed-wire collar is his punishment for being a pathological liar as well as where he had his jugular vein torn open by Pyramid Head. :D
