Ruby beamed at the Doctor in a sunny manner the moment the door opened, revealing him to her. She lifted the board when he mentioned it and laughed. "Knicked it more like," she giggled, "But no need to get into that." With a wink Ruby moved past him into his room. It was indeed a disaster. The Doctor's room resembled what Ruby imagined a room would look like if the Terminator and several UFO's had a bar brawl and exploded.

She waved a hand dismissively at his comment about the mess. While Ruby was almost unnaturally tidy herself she didn't have a real issue with other people's space being in disarray. Of course in the rooms of her closer friends she had a tendency to tidy up a bit when they weren't looking. She and the Doctor were swiftly becoming rather good friends but she couldn't say she was at the level that she wanted to clean his room for him by any stretch of the imagination... not that she would touch half of the weird bits and bobs she saw lying about.

"Your space, your clutter," she said casually as she flipped out the board onto the table and opened the little wooden drawer containing the pieces.

"Sin or virtue?" she asked him with a smirk, holding up one black piece at the word 'sin' and a white at the word 'virtue'. She usually made a habit of allowing the party she was playing with to choose the color of their pieces. She liked to give them the option of choosing white and thus having the first move.
