Chavez suddenly wondered why he hadn't opted to take the elevator. Then again this was nothing compared to the usual morning exercises that started off with a five mile jog. And that was only before breakfast.
He got to the kitchen in fairly good time as he saw it and didn't even need to pause outside to catch his breath. He walked through the door with a bit of a dubious look to his expression. What if this had simply been a prank? Oh, well. He was down here now.
