[Thread] Squall & Selphie, game #3!
Who: Squall and Selphie.
What: Triple Triad (again!). ...and puppies. :D

Where: Squall's room (#308)!
Rating: No higher than PG-13.
It took him a while, but Squall finally asked for what had been a long time coming. Well-asked in a roundabout way. He didn't know the cause of his reluctance… nervousness about possibly losing? No way, he thought as he closed the journal. I'm not gonna lose.
Except that's what he'd thought last time, too.
Squall stood and pushed back his chair, peering under the desk. Patch had been curled up at his feet and now the puppy looked up at him, tail mutedly thumping against the floor.
"She's coming over," Squall told the dog. "Behave. Don't jump."
Patch yawned at him.
"Mind me." His tone lacked actual threat and Patch responded by pawing at his boots. "Stop it." He moved away from the desk, retrieved his card deck from a drawer and gave his room a cursory glance. It was remarkably neat considering there was a puppy sharing the space. A few toys here and there and an unused dog bed against one wall.
Have to remember to offer that to her. He began to pick up the toys immediately in the way as he waited for Selphie to arrive. Hope she's gotten hers a little bit trained. Squall was not about to have a dog use the floor as a bathroom. Or worse… the bed.
