It had been a quiet day for the Pheraen lord-- time spent to puppy-proof his room [and finally find somewhere to stow his swords away from Pepper's curious eyes, why did she have such a fixated wonder on those things?] as well as simply talking to Hector, before his Ostian friend had excused himself to do something.
Eliwood had been lying on his bed, idly petting Pepper as the puppy decided to come lay on him, when a flash of red caught his attention from the corner of his eye. Eliwood's eyes widened in surprise when the flash formed into a male with long blonde hair, and... rather odd looking armor. Well, odd looking for what Eliwood was used to, he supposed.
"Ah... may I help you?" Eliwood ventured cautiously, sitting up and keeping a hold of Pepper, lest she go and upset the stranger. And seeing as Eliwood had never seen the man in his life before, it was better to keep Pepper under control in case he proved to be one of the more... volatile residents of the castle.
