[Thread] Not Exactly a Normal Dinner, now is this?
Who: Kaylee (sunshinymech), Drizzt (dawn_hunter), and Mal (canttakethe_sky)
What: As if lunch with Jayne wasn't enough for one day, let's add in dinner with Mal! XD
When: June 4, dinnertime
Where: the kitchen
Rating: PG-13? XD
Kaylee felt like hiding under the covers until the end of the day. Lunch with Jayne had been enough. She was going to be irritated with him for days at least. Really, there had been no need to go throwing punches!
And now things with Mal had gone south fast (was it really that bad that she and Drizzt were living together? Honestly!), and she needed to head downstairs again to make a meal for three. Only this time Drizzt was coming with her. Dinner in the kitchen seemed the obvious way to go as she hadn't told Mal "no weapons" like she had with Jayne.
Not like he'd listen anyway. It was a miracle Jayne had.
She sighed. She definitely had plans forming in her head to nurse a bottle of that pain-relief potion tonight and maybe gorge on something chocolate.
"Drizzt? I told the Cap'n we're eatin' dinner in the kitchen so I'm gonna head there now to get cookin'," she said. "Wanna come with me an' help? Or ya can stay here a bit an' then head down. Don't mind which ya pick."
She looked over to where Addiena was lounging. The giant white tiger had been her savior during lunch. Just summoning her and having Jayne see the giant cat had ended things ... and that gave her an idea. Maybe just the sight of her would keep any thoughts of violence down during dinner. Shiny!
"Addie, come on ... you're comin' to meet the Cap'n too."
