The Turk's stomach growled with hunger as he headed down to the kitchen. He really hadn't eaten much the past day while he had been watching Misa. After the first time he had left to get them both food (both meals he had ended up eating since she refused to touch hers) and return to find that she had smashed a mirror and injured her hand - he hadn't felt right leaving her alone.
Which would be fine except - Reno was someone who didn't do so well if he missed too many meals. Kind of the downside to being someone who relied on speed and agility for stuff. You burn energy way too quickly.
So after he started to feel himself start to feel the usual irritation that came with his hunger, he decided to leave the Kid alone with Misa and find some food. Kid could handle Misa for awhile, right? He sighed as reached the kitchen looking for the best quick thing to eat. Kid could probably handle it better than he was. The redhead's strong points did not have much to do emotional stuff.
Grabbing an apple from the counter, he took a bite into it. This wasn't his meal, but hey - it'd hold him down until he could decide what he wanted.
