Suzaku left his room and headed towards the newly installed (and recently abused) elevator. He would have taken the stairs, but seeing as how they were still ramps...
But Euphie was upset, and that was the last thing Suzaku wanted. What the castle did to Cornelia-sama must have hurt Euphie more than her sister. The freedom from the Empire was a relief, but with it came another price that they all had to pay, and it just wasn't fair.
Suzaku stilled in front of Euphie's door, hesitating, before he knocked.
