He wasn't sure why he'd gone and kicked the head toward Reeve, or why he brought up the idea that struck after. Maybe it was because of the sheer ridiculousness of the situation. Maybe he just wanted to kick something. Whatever it was it had Cid Highwind grinning like a fool as he made his way down stairway after stairway, with Wolfina in tow. It'd been years since he'd played anything like soccer, but the game wasn't hard, and he honestly did think that he and the woman alone could kick his friends' asses.
"Cid fucking Highwind and Wolfina versus Vincent fucking Valentine and Reeve Tuesti...Yeah, it's about even."
Arriving outside, Cid stopped and turned to where he figured his teammate was behind him.
"Pick a spot, before the other two show up."
