When Fay had told Mokona that he had found a place for the brand new piano bar, the creature had hardly been able to contain its excitement. When the magician informed his little friend that he would be going to meet the co-owner, to show him the space, there was no way Mokona was going to be left out of it. So, Fay set off toward the many levels of ramps, it was white a small white companion perched on his shoulder.

He was, truthfully, very glad that Lucifer had said he wouldn't mind Mokona being around. It was true that the customers would like love it, especially the women, and Mokona was very helpful, but getting right down to the matter? Fay had wanted a familiar face around. He could manage the work himself easily enough, but there would be no Sakura to brighten up the room, and no other friends returning to them at the end of the day. It was nicer, to have something in sight that knew him previously ( ... )

It had been shorter than he had assumed, and stood smoothly, before waving his hand, the martini glass disappearing. He opened the door in a smooth motion, and smiled pleasantly to the blond magician.

"Fay, a pleasure," he said pleasantly, eyes gravitating to the...creature perched on his shoulder. It looked like... a doll, or perhaps something a bit angelic, if it were not for the fact that its aura wasn't celestial.

"Is this your friend?" he questioned, giving the creature a smile and a nod. A creature like that was...interesting. He could even call it cute, by human standards.

He hoped the room would be pleasant, since he really was looking forward to owning (or co-owning) a piano bar again.

Ah, not what he had been expecting. Of course, it was hard to really expect anything from someone, after only speaking to them a few times over a magical journal, but Lucifer just seemed to...Well, seemed to be more than the appearance he wore let on. He looked just like a high-class man who was going out to a somewhat formal party, or out to dine at a nice restaurant. Fay couldn't imagine a simple man who 'felt', for lack of a better word, the way this being did. He couldn't tell what, or why, exactly, for he still refused to use magic, but those extra senses inside him were telling, and saying that his new acquaintance was something...Old. And something different than anything he had met previously.

Things would always be interesting then.

But it wasn't polite to stare.

"Likewise." he answered. "Yes, this is Mokona."

The magician fell silent, and let his friend introduce itself.

'My name is Mokona! Pleased to meet you!'It'd even held out his hand. Yes, things were easier with Mokona around ( ... )

Lucifer could feel the tinge of magic in the man, but refused to comment. He was rarely surprised by the different sorts of humans here. He had seen all sorts, such as the girl who had been a hybrid between Michael and a human, or the woman with the child of the cards. Humans often surprised him, with his overtly bleak outlook on their abilities and attitudes, but one with magic? That was hardly as surprising as some things he had seen before.

He did, however, feel a bit surprised at Mokona. It was...not really decipherable what the creature was, although he seemed pleasant enough. "I'm Lucifer Morningstar, Mokona," he introduced himself, reaching out to shake the little creature's hand gently, before nodding to Fay.

"Its fine, I have plenty of it," he said mysteriously, a slight smirk gracing his lips before he stepped out of the room, to begin the trek downstairs.

"I'm sure it wouldn't take long to move everything in," he said pleasantly to Fai, another of those mysterious looks gracing his lips.

Mokona seemed somewhat surprised by Lucifer too. Luficer Morningstar. The name had a nice ring to it. A mysterious one, like the smile that seemed to float about his features. Fay didn't know what it could mean, but it...didn't seem malevolent. Besides. Lucifer didn't really seem sinister. Just sort of...bored?

Fay stopped a moment at the stairway and let his mind wish and want for stairs instead of ramps. It was interesting to note that their acquaintance didn't have to. He moved with all the confidence that the world would do as he wish, whether it wanted to or not.

A piano bar was going to be no problem.

Stepping a little quickly to catch up, the magician fell in a little behind Lucifer before beginning to ask questions.

"Your previous place, The Lux? What was it like?"

Lucifer hadn't been sinister in quite some time. That act got old after the first century or so. He would rather just watch the humans and demons and angels all damn themselves with their own power. Of course, they all blamed him.

Not that he cared. He continued to walk, golden eyes looking down at the ramps and walked, they changed into stairs as he walked downwards. No effort involved, of course. Sure, they would revert to ramps soon, but that wasn't his problem. They were stairs while he walked. That's all that mattered.

He looked over his shoulder at Fay, and gave him a lofty smile. "The Lux was a very nice place. My mistress and I ran it for a while," he explained. The real treat had been in the basement, but there was no need to speak of the door to his universe.

Fay considered the answer for a moment, but not for long. They were already almost to the ground floor. So their situations had been more or less the same. That was good. But there were still a few things he was curious about.

The first, was the issue of money. He and the others had only been in Outo for a short time, so how much they would charge, and for what, had ended up never even really being an issue. But this place would give its residents money, if they wanted it, and the city people down below refused it.

The second, was the issue of food and drink. Would they actually prepare the food (Fay could cook well enough) or merely wish for that as well?

The two 'issues' weren't anything of dire importance, but he wanted to see what Lucifer would say.

"What do you think about the money? And the food, of course, and the drink?"

Lucifer hadn't considered much of that. He really did not have a need for money, and even if Earth had required a stable economy and an influx of cash to seemingly own a bar, this realm had no need for money, did it?

He considered it as he walked, almost appearing to ignore the question as he considered it. The food and drink were not too much of a problem. He was certain the 'ghosts' he had identified as servants would not be too difficult to sway into bringing the average sorts of food in a bar.

Drinks? He wondered if Fay could bartend?

Finally, he spoke. "Money is of no concern in this realm. Since everything is free, would there really be a need to collect income?" he questioned, still seeming to muse out loud. "As for food and drink, can you bartend?" he questioned simply.

"None at all!" Fay agreed, cheerfully. Not running any kind of register would be nice too. How would be expected to serve people, if he was counting change?
Of course Mokona could have done it, but Fay was glad for the decision all the same.

"I can, and so can Mokona."

The little creature confirmed this with an excited 'Mokona will help!' before quieting it, as the trio reached the ground floor. The magician indicated which direction with his hand, but continued letting Lucifer lead.

That was, of course, until they got to the door.

Turning the handle and entering first through the open door, Fay bowed his head a little and held out his other arm. Presentation was everything, after all, wasn't it? Even for empty room that looked like they'd been set apart just for you.

"How is it?" he asked.

Lucifer nodded to the creature, an enigmatic smile lilting across his lips. "Splendid," he said, before turning the direction that Fay had indicated.

He allowed the magician to open the door, before the mysterious smile returned to his face.

"Its perfect," he said simply walking in slowly, a hand resting in his pocket as he started to walk around the room, steps echoing in the emptiness.
