That bitch. That fucking bitch. Kanda didn't need Mugen to strangle the life out of that Noah. All of this was a game... but somehow he was glad for a quick way through this. He was glad to see Misa.

Of course he would come.

It was Misa and one of the few he called friend. Or cared about. Cared about enough to go charging in without his Innocence just... just to do something. He remembered Cross' instructions all too well.

His steps never faltered as the door opened and he stepped out, glaring at the Noah girl, since she was the first in his line of sight.

She couldn't move. Nothing strapped her to the chair, but her body wouldn't respond. It just sat, pretty and proper, like a porcelain doll a spoiled little girl no longer played with, leaving it to collect dust on a shelf somewhere. How long had Misa been staring at herself in the mirror? True, she did look pretty, but... And that creepy little girl was dancing around her again, her voice moving wildly around her and Misa stopped being able to tell if Rhode was speaking or if she was hearing voices in her head. At least Rhode stopped touching her, changing her clothes, hands in her hair, hugging her.

She wanted to go back to sleep. Coming? Exciting? He was coming.

Misa caught sight of the door in the angle of the mirror. Kanda? Alone. Oh God.

Rhode returned the nasty glare with a grin and wave of her free hand, keeping a firm hold on Lero who just about went crazy. "Bu-bu-but he should be dead, Lero! Master Skin killed him!"

The young girl waved that point away, not that interested. "So what? I guess this place can bring back the death, too." It could be the only explanation for Skin's appearance too, though she was happy to know her feel Noah was alive here.

Candles loomed above in the air, dancing to a nameless tune while Rhode tilted her head this way and that at Kanda. "Eeeeh, so you want your girlfriend back?" She giggled and ran over to Misa, throwing her arms around the woman happily. "Isn't she pretty, hmm?" With a nuzzle, the Noah cooed over her doll and petted her hair. "I did her hair myself. Do you like it?"

"No, he didn't." Kanda replied stubbornly, he clenched his fist. Eyes moving to Misa now that Rhode had pointed her out. Kanda's eyes widden and he stopped breathing for a moment. "Misa?!"

What had this bitch done?

Kanda turned his eyes on the Noah stepping forward, foolish without his weapon but at the same time... well simply not caring. Not Misa. "Don't touch her, you bitch."

She felt like a rag doll when the Noah's arms were around her again, pulling and cuddling at her, always petting her hair. (She was just going to mess it up that way.) So stupid. If Misa had brought the Death Note downstairs with her in the first place, Rhode would be dead and Misa could be wearing all the pretty clothes she wanted, not kidnapped.

There was nothing she could do, so she let her body sway lifelessly with Rhode's movements. It was Kanda, yeah, that was his voice. Did he really care that much?

Does he know what she can do? Go away, Kanda. Thank you, but go away before something happens. "Stop it." She knew her mind had said the words, but she couldn't tell if her mouth did the same. Just stop.
